Grafton Street is located in the Waterfront Business Area, a warehouse area not far from the city centre.

This street is the playground of the very good crew NSA (Casm, Azid, Beta, Dead, Tea One, Pois, Care, Phog, Syph, Inoe, Hope, Ziek, Moak, Sta One, Kesk, Seez, Kore) who develop a very detailed wildstyle:
For more info an interview of Azid is available on World Graffiti.

I had not been in London for a while, and as far as street art is concerned, things moved quite a lot.

I give you as proof my sneaky morning photo session, which allowed me to find:
- beautiful works by Roa (especially the rabbit),
- three new Banksy which had unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view- been defaced by Robbo (complete story here:Banksy Vs Robbo),
- two works by Vhils made for the Grifters exhibition, which is organized by Steve Lazarides,
- a beautiful joint work by C215 and the Canadian artist Indigo in the yard of the Cargo,
- a legal mural by Oliver Winconek
- and, last but not least, a huge Space Invader in Bricklane market, also made for the Grifters exhibition.
Enjoy the pictures:

Once again in the Belleville area of Paris, rue Dénoyez is a street which is entirely graffed and constantly evolving. A lot of artists use this street where painting is legal, and the beautiful murals made there never stay for long.

The atmosphere is very nice and the graffers are well accepted by the population Here are a few pictures to give you an idea, but I can only advise you go and make up your own mind.

La Kommune, which used to be called La Forge, is an artist squat located rue Ramponeau in the Belleville area of Paris. L’Atlas and Teurk’s studios are hosted there.

In the yard the visitor admires a huge red, black and white mural, product of a collaboration between several artists like Speedy Graffito, Sunset, Above, L’Atlas and Zoo Project. There is also a smaller mural by Sunset and L’Atlas.
Then at the back of the yard three walls are free for everyone. Small gardens can be found in the whole yard; they were created for the inhabitants of the area.
This place is thus open to anyone, regardless of age, which is very nice.

I mentioned this artist squat in the rue Neuve Tolbiac in a previous post. I went there to practice a bit, and made some pics.

Unfortunately the security guy, who is new addition to the street, told me it was now forbidden to graf on the Frigos building because it is going to be renovated. This is sad because the walls had been free for everyone to express oneself for almost 20 years…
